What is Fair for All?

Fair for All is the official publication for The Foundation Against Intolerance & Racism (FAIR), a nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing civil rights and liberties for all Americans, and promoting a common culture based on fairness, understanding and humanity.

Increasingly, American institutions—colleges and universities, businesses, government, the media and even our children’s schools—are enforcing a cynical and intolerant orthodoxy. This orthodoxy requires us to identify ourselves and each other based on immutable characteristics like skin color, gender and sexual orientation. It pits us against one another, and diminishes what it means to be human.

Today, almost 70 years after Brown v. Board of Education ushered in the Civil Rights Movement, there is an urgent need to reaffirm and advance its core principles.

  • To insist on our common humanity.

  • To demand that we are each entitled to equality under the law.

  • To bring about a world in which we are all judged by the content of our character and not by the color of our skin.

That’s where Fair for All comes in.

Our Mission

Fair for All is a platform for original content that exemplifies FAIR’s commitment to pro-human values, free speech, and viewpoint diversity on issues relating to civil rights.

Fair for All offers:

  • An online magazine featuring essays, analyses, interviews, and reviews from members of FAIR’s Board of Advisors, and other authors.

  • A weekly podcast featuring prominent thinkers discussing today’s most important issues and ideas.

  • A weekly newsletter—FAIR News—that you can subscribe to separately.

Why Subscribe?

When you subscribe to Fair for All, you ensure that every new article will be sent directly to your email inbox.

We are currently in the process of developing paid subscription plans for those who wish to support us financially and also receive perks for doing so. We will issue an update as soon as that is ready to launch.

Submit Your Article!

We are interested in publishing interesting and original content from our diverse community. Whether you’re a seasoned author or an amateur writer with a story to tell that contributes to our mission of promoting fairness, understanding and humanity, we would love to read it!

We are interested in breaking news, opinions, book reviews, interviews, and (most of all) personal stories from ordinary people who have first-hand experience with intolerant and neo-racist ideologies being promoted in schools and workplaces.

Please submit your piece to submissions@fairforall.org

  • We have no hard word count limits, but please try to keep your submissions to between 1000 and 2500 words.
