As someone who attended law school little more than a decade ago, it is disheartening to see how quickly and drastically many legal institutions have rejected what were then core notions of law and justice. It is particularly alarming to see this happening in the context of law schools, as the students will be the very professionals on which the people will have rely in the future to defend basic liberties. If these students are not being taught the importance of defending civil liberties, who will be left to defend them? Glad to see FAIR stepping in to correct course.

I hope Emory Law SBA will rethink their position. They have now put a temporary moratorium on new charters because of Omicron but I’ve heard the EFSF will reapply in March when it is lifted.

Otherwise I can foresee a huge legal battle.
